I have been a DLI host 10+ years, welcoming (Defensive Language Institute English Language Center - DLIELC) students from South Korea, Turkey, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and more. I've also hosted university students, tourists, Military. It has been a rewarding experience to meet individuals from different countries, sharing their culture, and building lasting friendships. It's extremely important to me that all my tenants feel at ease and comfortable during their stay. And, that their homestay experience is memorable and rewarding.

This is a 4 bedroom home with 2 covered outdoor patios, Koi pond with waterfall for stress-free relaxation and meditation. The atmosphere is drug and party free, respectful, easy-going, quiet, and relaxed. Guests welcome (no overnight stays), no late-night partying or disruptions. Access to common areas to include formal living area, large family room w/fireplace and large screen TV with Fire TV Stick streaming service (streaming service also available in bedroom), fully equipped gourmet kitchen to prepare your own meals, pantry space, formal dining area, 1 shared full bath, (another full bath is private), laundry room with high capacity washer/dryer, iron, ironing board. Carport and street parking. On bus route. Outdoor only smoking permitted.

Single occupancy bedrooms complete with queen size bed, master bedroom with king-size bed and private bath, nightstand, dresser/mirror, wardrobe closet, Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Fire TV Stick streaming service, ceiling fan, keyed door lock.

All utilities (electricity, gas, water) included in monthly rent. Central Air/Heat. Cleaning service for common areas performed weekly. Cleaning service for bedrooms performed for a fee. Month to month rental. The monthly rental rate is based on single occupancy, no couples. No security deposit. No application fee. Cleaning fee at move-out $50.00. Monthly rent is non-negotiable. No rent pro-ration upon move-out.

Complimentary self-serve Continental breakfast included. Items are milk, cereal, fruit, toast, orange juice, Keurig coffee. Airport transportation also provided.

Accurate distance to Lackland AFB (DLI) is 7 miles (15 minutes), 5 minutes to PortSA, 13 minutes to St. Mary's University, 10 minutes to Downtown/Riverwalk, UT Health Science Center 25 minutes (15 miles). Quick access to Highway 90 (Cleto Rodriguez Freeway), IH 35, Hwy. 151.

I have 2 medium size indoor dogs (male/female Cocker Spaniels), quiet and friendly and confined to a private area.
