Most of our students have attended the Defense Language Institute at Lackland Air Force Base. We have also had a few college students who have attended SAC and St. Mary's. In the last 8 years we've had over 65 students that have completed their English exam and have moved on to their specialized training in other parts of the US. It has been a very rewarding experience for our family and for the students as we have made life long friendships. We share cultures and explore new foods. I have learned to cook some main dishes from Saudi Arabia (kabsa, saliq, kibda, pita bread, hummus, and more). We have grown children and grandchildren that visit often. We are a diverse family with many interests. We love the outdoors, swimming, horse back riding and sitting around a camp fire. We haven't gone abroad but when we do we will have our students to visit! We have been to Fort Rucker, Alabama, 5 times to visit our students.

We are just South of San Antonio. Our home is an easy drive to Lackland AFB. If you don't mind the short drive, we're sure you'll enjoy your stay. It's peaceful and quiet on the farm. We have chickens, pigs, cows, horses and dogs.

We assist with English studies including games, stories, grammar, presentations, and conversation. We have a study area that is focused on the ECL, and our students pass their ECL and OPI. We take pride in helping our students accomplish their goals. And, we want you to have FUN doing it!
