We love people and cross cultural connection, and work really hard to make our home, your home away from home. We have only hosted twice before but have been volunteering with international students from the Defense Language Institute for the last 3 years. Additionally, our extended family has been hosting students for 7 years and we have thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet people from all over the world. As a family we love to travel, not only to explore the world, but currently our work has us living between the U.S. and Guatemala. If you were to choose our home as your Home Stay, it is important to know that when we are out of the country our adult daughter, who also lives with us, is the caretaker of the home and would be sharing a living space with you. Because we are in and out often, we cannot commit to providing meals, but when we are here we do love to cook and feed people. We work hard and play hard; valuing family time, cooking out, and friends to fill our free time. Our home is centrally located on the North East Side, sitting 13 miles from Incarnate Word, 18 miles from St. Mary's and UTSA, 25 miles from Lackland, and 13 miles to the city center.
